Vietnam ranks eighth in number of students in the U.S.

This year is the 12th consecutive increase in the number of international students in the U.S. Vietnam. Vietnam maintains 8th spot among the countries with the most international students in the U.S.

This year's Open Doors report shows the total number of international students studying at universities and colleges of America increased 6% to a total of 764 495 people in the 2011-2012 school year. This is a record high number of international students to study in the U.S..
According to the results of a recent study on international students studying in the state of the U.S. Institute of International Education, the strong growth in the number of international students studying in the United States expressed confidence of students and parents to a degree in the U.S.. This is considered to be a solid investment for the future now.

We are pleased to see that Vietnam is still one of the fastest growing markets in Asia for higher education in the United States. We also appreciate the contributions that these outstanding students in Vietnam and bring enthusiasm while studying in America ", Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the United States, Mr. Christopher Hodges said.
