The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) is a Canadian public research university, founded in 1907, and located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

   The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) is a major research-intensive university, featuring Canada's most extensive health-science complex, which includes medical, nursing, veterinary, dental and pharmacy colleges. We are ranked among the top ten of Canada’s best universities. Located in a picturesque river-side prairie landscape, our main campus is home to world-class research installations and infrastructure, such the Canadian Light Source (CLS) – Canada’s only synchrotron – the International Vaccine Centre (InterVac) – one of the world’s most advanced Containment Level 3 teaching and research facilities – and the STOR-M Tokamak reactor, Canada’s only device devoted to magnetic fusion.

II. University Ranking:

   The University of Saskatchewan is now the largest education institution in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. University of Saskatchewan ranks among the top ten in medical doctoral universities in Canada according to Maclean's Guide to Canadian Universities 2007. The National Post and Financial Post "Top 500" ranking of Universities places the U of S 13th of the top 20 Canadian Universities with a population of 15,397 and revenue of $566,596,000.

IV. Admission Requirements:

  • Graduated from high school, have a TOEFL iBT certificate over 80 point or IELTS 6.5
  • For student whose are studying at university or college, the university will review on exemption credits according to specific situations.
  • Base on what major that student was choosing, the university will require GPA of different subjects, such as Edwards School of Business asks for Math’s GPA over 7.7 point .
