Penn State Erie, The Behrend College: Many attractive scholarship opportunities

Behrend College (often referred to as Penn State Behrend) is an undergraduate and graduate school with the best criteria: a friendly, student-centered, and responsive environment. sufficient academic resources of a large research university.

Penn State Behrend offers 37 four-year programs (some of which are unique only to the Penn State system), a five-year master's degree program and a four year associate program. Penn State also has 160 undergraduate degree programs.

There are more than 4,600 undergraduate and graduate students studying and living under the roof of Penn State Behrend. On campus there are 854 student clubs, athletes clubs, creating a lively community fun.



- Penn State offers an academically respecting global academic environment, creating an environment in which students can interact closely with faculty and have a wide variety of classroom experiences.

The BEA (Behrend ESL Alliance of Mentors) program provides opportunities for students who are learning English with a native English speaker to improve their communication and academic application.

The content of the program includes:
- Communicate with native speakers in English

- Improve the level with practice sessions
Improved pronunciation, idioms, slang, expressions, and other language features.

- Join cultural events to learn non-stop.

F-1 students can accept employment with a qualified international organization.

This type of employment may be full-time or part-time and not related to the student's specialty. Penn State Behrend students may be employed starting in the first semester.
Students must maintain full-time enrollment in the school year. Work permits may be issued for one year and reissued.

Penn State Behrend offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for both:

- College student
- Graduted student

Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of criteria including transcripts, leadership and financial needs.

Students will be automatically considered for most scholarships, including scholarships and scholarships according to needs and scholarships of Chancellor's Scholarships. Other scholarships include: leadership scholarships, employer scholarships, and overseas study fellowships.


Behrend College is one of 20 universities in the US will attend the USA Scholarships Fair in October 2017. Ho Chi Minh.
