New Zealand Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation
Study Program for Physical Therapists and Nurses at Waiariki Institute of Technology.
Students of this program will acquire knowledge in New Zealand's health care system and afford them opportunities to explore the context of the health experiences of the individual, family and communities .
Consequently, graduates would not only have gained more expertise in the areas of palliative care, rehabilitation and health of the older adult but also support them with a pathway to higher educational learning at a postgraduate level.

Graduates will be able to gain employment within a wide range of healthcare settings such as: rehabilitation; disability support services; palliative care from a multi-layered approach (primary, secondary, tertiary setting).
Graduates of this New Zealand Diploma in Health and Rehabilitation may be eligible to apply for the Graduate Job Search Visa or Graduate Work Experience Visa.
If you intend to apply for Registration as a Nurse, this program can be combined with a Competence Assessment Program (CAP).
