U.S. News Best College for 23 consecutive years. The 2014 rankings place Murray State 8th among the top public regional universities in the South and the 14th-ranked public regional university in the nation.

Forbes Top College for five consecutive years. In addition to being named to the 2013 America’s Top Colleges list, Forbes also designated Murray State as one of “America’s Top 100 Best Buy" colleges for the fourth year in a row.

G.I. Jobs magazine ranked MSU a “2014 Military Friendly School.” The list honors the top 20 percent of all colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide that are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.
