Lower Columbia College: Low cost, top quality
Lower Columbia College was founded in 1934 as Lower Columbia Junior College. In 1961 it was upgraded to a community college. In 1967, the school entered the state's community college system.
As a two-year college, Lower Columbia offers low-cost, individualized programs that focus on helping students transition into top-tier colleges. You can find any course you want, from the course to get a job or transfer to college with a variety of study programs. From high school to master, Lower Columbia College maintains its focus on teaching higher education.

About 7,000 students attend each quarter. Small classes allow students and faculty to interact more closely.
