If you are consider which activities you should take during the studying time, let see this girl sharing something about her volunteer experience:
Quynh Nhien (Board of Director of YEA Camp 2015) – International student of Babson Universiy. She arrived Rwanda to teach about Entrepreneurship for children in her volunteer trip in 2013. She shared that “At first I just thought this was a chance for me to experience the teaching and did volunteer work. However, after 5 days teaching here, I came back Viet Nam with dream to bring this knowledge to Viet Nam.”
After 3 days of learning and working together, on the 4th day, I asked my students: “What’s your passion? Now, they didn’t just look at me anymore, they answered that: “Help people in the village easily to get the market and help students have more opportunites to access Internet,…
At that time, I knew my task was partially completed. Then I helped them continue to develop these ideas. The last day, one of my team menbers- Joseph, he was one of Top 3 of Rocket Pitch Competition. This result really made me surprise. At beginning, he was one of the weakest members of the team, but in the end, he was the one had the idea most practical and very helpful to community. I was very happy not only for that but also that I know I want to create the same change in Vietnamese students.”
