The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences, University of Glasgow is offering scholarship for international students. This scholarship is available for pursuing MSc in Biotechnology and Management.

The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences aims to attract academically talented students from around the world and give them an intellectually demanding, research-informed education. The college is equally committed to supporting students and rewarding academic excellence.

The college is organised into seven research institutes, each focused on key strategic research themes and delivering several postgraduate degree programmes. University research generates an annual income of over £80M and is focused on improving the health and quality of life of humans and animals across the globe.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing MSc programme.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship will comprise £10,000

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must

-be classed as international for fee purposes

-hold a conditional or unconditional offer for the MSc Biotechnology

Nationality: International students can apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement: Entry requirements for each specific programme, both academic and English language requirements (if English is not student’s first language), are listed on the Postgraduate Taught degree programmes A-Z.

Supporting Material:

To apply for a postgraduate taught programme, student need to provide:

- Final or current undergraduate degree transcript (and an official translation) – scanned copy in colour of the original document

-  Degree certificate (and an official translation) if they have already completed their degree: scanned copy in colour of the original document

- 2 references on headed paper (academic and/or professional – see programme entry requirements)

- Any additional document specifically listed under ‘Entry requirements’ on the Postgraduate Taught degree programmes A-Z copy of passport (photopage) – non-EU applicants only

How to Apply: Applicants will be automatically assessed for a scholarship. Offers will be made to outstanding applicants based on academic merit. There is no separate application form required.

Application Deadline: The application deadline is 1st May, 2016.
